Grief Workshops
Join Kylee Gies; Grief Doula and Creative Grief Support Practitioner, for a monthly workshop in the yurt surrounded by nature's embrace. Each offering has an expansive theme focused on providing an educational healing experience to usher you through your grief. They are tenderly curated to provide expressive therapeutic modalities that encompass; meaning-making, creative exploration, guided movement, heART work, awareness, neuroscience, ancient wisdom, and practical self-healing tools. These workshops are an elixir for tending to your precious heart. ❤️

Grief Doula Services
If you are seeking one-on-one grief support or are interested in tending to your own grief, Kylee is here to walk the path with you. Personal group/family curated sessions are also an option. She will meet you where you are at with presence, love, and compassion. Your circumstance(s), needs and curiosities will be aligned with an informed invitation to be an apprentice and healer of your own grief. Sound Healing
Sound healing is a powerful therapy that utilizes specific frequencies to improve our multidimensional well-being. Instruments, music, and vocal toning emit vibrations that resonate within the body. The utilized frequencies affect our cells, tissues, and brainwave patterns. The harmonious sounds guide people into tranquil meditative states, which induces emotional release, stress reduction, energetic rebalancing, and deep relaxation. A variety of practitioners offer solely focused sound experiences along with a combination of other healing arts.
Medicine Drum Making
The creation and birth of a medicine drum is a sacred journey of self-awareness and intention. We will fuse together alchemical elements to create and birth your medicine drum. The potency of your drum's unique voice and medicine will grow richer and stronger through the years of releasing its song. This workshop is offered three times a year with Suzanne Silvermoon, who has thirty plus years experience and wisdom with this sacred art.
Yoga Nidra and Sound Bath
Join Adam Riehl; Sound Healer, Reiki Master, and Yoga Teacher, in the yurt, nestled in the woods, every other month for Yoga Nidra and a Sound Bath! This is a chance to relax, receive, and restore as you are supported on your own vibrational experience. Adam will guide you into a 'yogic sleep' state and deeper into 'rest and digest'. The second half, he will offer a sound bath to soak in the healing vibrations.Tibetan and crystal bowls, drums, percussion instruments, and more will be soothing you. The incredible acoustics in 'the round' will enhance the magic.
Stretch Tent Rental
We have a 30’ x 60’ Marquees Stretch tent for rent seasonally between May and September. It's perfect for weddings, reunions, retreats, and most outdoor events between May and Sept. This dwelling is majestic in stature and strong in the elements. The special nylon material shape shifts to meet your needs. The acoustics are incredible.
DJ BenEvolence, with 'Sacred Vibration's, is here to get you movin and groovin every other month. Ecstatic dance is a free-form, not structured dance space: In its most elemental definition it's a free-form dance movement inspired and led by carefully crafted music with the intention of creating a healing journey. No dance experience or partner is necessary or needed. It's a A space where everyone can feel spontaneously safe to try new things and push their edges. This is the dance you dance when nobody is watching. Allowing your body to move freely without judgments or concerns for the "grace" or beauty of the dance, just getting lost in the dance into a space of no-mind.
Yurt
We have a 30’ Pacific Yurt nestled in the woods. The yurt is a dwelling that provides an indoor 'open floor' dry space. It is a round house or lodge that naturally evokes sacred circles, which represents unity, infinity, connection, wholeness, and inclusion. The origin of this circular dwelling began in Central Asia as the primary style of housing, especially in Mongolia. In this cultural context, it is seen as a link between the people and the extreme nature in which they live. Here at SD, you can experience this among the forest of trees and animals. One can feel as if they are out in the elements when the rain falls, yet you are amongst the warmth of the wood stove. The symphonic croaks of the frogs or hoots of the owls penetrates your being as if you are right next to them. The acoustics are magical inside and out.
Yoga Day Retreats
A variety of Yogi practitioners come to Sacred Dwelling to offer a daylong Yoga retreat. The purpose of a retreat is to allow yogis to deepen their practice, in mind, body, and soul, without the distractions of life. Sessions are tailored to a variety of yoga styles depending on the facilitator's offering. It is a nurturing experience immersed in nature whether in the yurt or under the 'Big Tent'. The land has space to relax, to just 'be' in the natural environment, to walk on a myriad of trails, and enjoy delicious meals together.
Meditation
Meditation can be loosely defined as a mental discipline designed to promote concentration and the capacity for what is called "one-pointedness". The mind is sometimes likened to a pool of water that is muddy and turbulent; the practice of meditation calms the mind so as to be able to see its true nature clearly. Different types of meditation help to still the mind, unify the body and breath, and open up a connection to the deeper levels of consciousness.
Breath Work
Learn techniques that intentionally channel and focus on the breath. Breath-work helps calm you down and move your body and mind out of
fight - or - flight mode.
