Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year and the shortest night. This light energy is the most ‘yang’ day of the year—the ‘height’ of Summer. Our vital life force depends on this energy to live throughout all the seasons in the wheel. From the cultural perspective of many, the Summer season embodies the elements of fire, passion, heart, fertility, growth, abundance, laughter, and joy. It’s a time to gather and celebrate the sun at its highest zenith along with our relationship of reverence and gratitude for it's unwavering life support.
