About the Event

Join us and experience the full range of your breath. Dive into the most profound and controllable system of your body… connect to your breath from the top to the bottom and experience connection alignment and self love like you never have before.

Breathing is the dial to your nervous system… by breathing with awareness and intention you can dial into and generate neural pathways into the relaxation system (parasympathetic nervous system) as well as the energizing system (sympathetic nervous system). By practicing activating these systems you expand the capacity of your nervous system and your ability to flexibly and masterfully switch between them. This experience will expand your human and give you a deeper connection and ability to integrate with the present moment. Let’s all live with greater depth together!

The breath experience will prepare you for full immersion into the unique vibrational journey… The Sound Bath! In this part of the experience you will let go of all control. Allowing your body, mind, heart and spirit to synchronize to the present moment… Beautiful vibrations created with powerful and ancient instruments will guide you into the deepest levels of your being.

Let your mind rest and your body revitalize… Leave feeling refreshed and aligned, ready for this year! We look forward to journeying with you!

Facilitators Bios:

Chris Wurden:

Chris is a Professional Breathing Consultant and Resilience Coach. Chris began his life in a full state of debilitating nervous system overwhelm, that put him in the hospital over 25 times starting at the age of 2.5. His breath, mind and body were his greatest enemies... His life became a quest to heal his trauma and turn his greatest weaknesses into his greatest strengths.

Presently, he has dialed into the most essential practices human beings can use to expand the capacity of their nervous systems and thus their abilities to live fuller lives. He artfully and passionately guides people to directly expand their capacities to embrace the full intensity of Raw Energy (Sympathetic Nervous System) and of Surrendering/Relaxing (Parasympathetic Nervous System).

No matter where you begin... he will show you how the breath and your nervous system can become your most powerful tools... so that you may expand your own capacity to live the fullest life you could ever imagine.

Abraham Neuwelt:

Abraham is a multi-percussionist specializing in live performance, music therapy and private lessons. He is regarded as one of the Northwest's most accomplished handpan players and a lead ambassador of the instrument .

You may be asking yourself, "what is a handpan?" The handpan (hang) originated in Bern Switzerland in 2001. It is derived from the Trinidad steel drum but is convex in shape and tuned to unique scales. The handpan emits a sonic tone with multiple harmonics creating a layered, ethereal sound.

Abraham has been heavily involved in the Northwest music scene for over 20 years and performs regularly at venues with local artists around the Sound, as well as at festivals all over the US. He is a part of the music therapy program at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and teaches annually at the World Rhythm Festival. He is also employed by the city of Seattle to perform at downtown parks and Seatac Airport.

No matter where you find Abraham performing, it is definitely something you need to hear to believe!
