About the Event
“ Walking, I am listening to a deeper way. Suddenly all my ancestors are behind me. Be still, they say. Watch and listen. You are the result of the love of thousands.” ~ Linda Hogan, Native American Writer
Join us in the yurt surrounded by nature’s embrace for an ancestral journey of the heart. It will also be a Full Hunter’s Moon! Come as you are to share in sacred circle. Chances are you will leave feeling held, connected, and uplifted by our collective energy and heart medicine.
We are amidst the abundance of Fall as we graciously benefit from the labor of love and the growth from the sun’s light. Autumnal Equinox marked the shift toward darkness as we prepare our inner and outer landscapes for winter’s muse. In many cultural traditions, it is the time of year to create celebratory rituals to connect with our ancestors and loved ones who have left this realm. It is a magical liminal space where the veils are thin and uplifted.
This mysterious space is a time of harvesting infinite love through honor and communion with our ancestors. It’s also an opportunity to ‘RE:member’ ourselves and ‘remember’ the potency of continued relationships through the oscillation of history and present moment narratives. We have an innate resilience to cultivate peace and harmony as we embrace death, loss, and ancestral grief on this Earthly plane. Ceremony and ritual bring to life the remembrance, the honor, and the interwoven harmonious connection we have for our loved ones.
You will have the opportunity to:
~ Create a living altar in honor of our Ancestors, our loved ones, and ourselves. It is a beautiful
vessel of love, expression, and communication. Objects, photos, songs, poems, relics, etc.
that carry meaning for you are welcome.
~ Experience a grief movement embodiment ritual. This practice encourages presence, heart
opening, empowerment, and self-healing through our body’s innate wisdom to transform
through breath, sound, and movement.
~ Explore and integrate the three R’s: Roots, Remembrance, and Realignment
~Take a guided ancestor journey accompanied by a rejuvenating sound bath with Ashley
~ Close our time together with some reflection and delicious snacks
