About the Event

Autumn is the season of change, dominated by the energy of Vata (Air & Space). The days grow noticeably shorter, temperatures drop, chilly winds blow, we begin to spend more time in our heated homes, and the body responds by drying. A gentle fall cleanse rids the body of built-up toxins and excess Pitta (Fire-Heat). The Rasayana (rejuvenation) phase of the Autumn Cleanse supports the integration of Summer’s heat into a soothing and sustaining warmth. This warmth along with a healthy digestive system and potent immune system carries us through the cold and dark Kapha (Earth & Water) time of the year (Winter, and early Spring) with health, resiliency, vitality, and juiciness!

What to Expect:

o Learn foundational elements of Ayurveda (Science of Life) how you feel and experience and wisely digest life.

o Tools needed to understand your unique body constitution.

o Strategies to live harmoniously with the rhythms of nature.

o Learn Importance of seasonal cleansing of toxins from the body/mind.

o Daily self-cleansing practices for optimal health.

o Specific details on how to complete the Ayurvedic Autumn Cleanse.

o Recipes for the Autumn Cleanse as well as for Healthy Living.
